Fathom joins Learnovate

Fathom has become a member of Trinity College Dublin education technology research centre, Learnovate.

Fathom is keely interested in how new technologies and digital innovation can support teaching and learning and organisation transformation.

Language learning platform Nualang, developed by Fathom, is a good example. It uses technology including speech-to-text and chatbots for teachers to create targeted exercises for their students to practice pronunciation and conversation.

Membership in Learnovate will provide Fathom access to multi-million euro research and facilitate conversations with EdTech researchers and like minded organisations.

John McQuillan, Fathom CTO, commented

“We are looking forward to having access to TCD research and to structured discussions within the Irish EdTech community. We believe we can contribute towards ideation for our own part and also accelerate implementation.”

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK ?

We love to talk about ideas, innovation, technology and just about anything else. Really, we love to talk.
